In his new role Mat will be responsible for leading the business development teams for both the Asset Management and Receivables Management divisions, dealing predominantly with the invoice finance and insolvency sectors. 

On joining Cerberus, having spent 12 years in banking and finance,  he used his in-depth knowledge of distressed ledger recovery, as well as the legal and insolvency process, to deliver outstanding results to the client base, leading to him being promoted to a newly created role of business development manager in 2011.

During his time with Cerberus, Mat has been instrumental in building the receivables side of the business from two people into a 15-strong team and helping to create an excellent reputation for providing market-leading receivables management services.
  
Speaking about Mat’s promotion, Simon Merrett of Cerberus said,
